Experienced Counselor
HI! I'm so glad you are here! My name is Kim Manrique (She/Her/Hers). I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Art Therapist and Certified HypnoBirthing® Educator in the Traverse City Area. I graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School with a Masters degree in Art Therapy and Counseling and have over 15 years of experience working with children, adults and families with different mental health needs. I offer a creative and integrative approach to counseling including art therapy, play therapy, energy work, reiki, sensory processing and mindfulness techniques with a person centered focus. I also have training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
HypnoBirthing® & HypnoMothering®
I teach classes in HypnoBirthing for expecting parents or parent and also offer HypnoMothering classes to support women after birth during the postpartum time. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you through your journey in life.
